My Bio

Reyn Halford was born in Honolulu, and has a deep love for the people, culture, and lifestyle of Hawai’i. He has the heart of a local boy, with an international reach. His natural enthusiasm, authentic care for customers, and knowledge of Hawai’i fuel his passion for Real Estate.

He graduated from Mid-Pacific Institute in 2008, where he cultivated many interests, including the performing arts, cultural-exchange, and Japanese language. Attending Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA , he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies, focus on world religions and cross-cultural missions. Launching his career abroad as an English teacher with the Japan Exchange Teaching (JET) Program, the experience living and working as “Reyn Sensei” in the Japanese countryside changed the trajectory of his professional life.

Upon returning home to Hawai’i in 2014, Reyn used his passion for people and Japanese language ability to work as a Private Tour Guide on O’ahu. He also worked as a Japanese teacher at Le Jardin Academy in Kailua, bringing his international experiences home to the classroom. In 2017, he became a flight attendant with Hawaiian Airlines, a perfect fit for this local boy with an international heart. His most common route is flying to Japan, and his favorite layover destination is Sapporo city to enjoy sushi, snowboarding, and onsen hot springs.

Outside of work, Reyn’s hobbies include traveling, hiking, kayaking, and stand-up paddling. He is an actor and performer, with many local theatre, commercial, and film credits. Reyn has a natural enthusiasm and energy, which he brings into his Real Estate business. His genuine love of people and new connections, as well as his global outreach from a local-boy start, make him the successful agent that people love to work with.
